the 2008 lookback post

in slightly more than 6 hours, 2008 will officially become a thing of the past as we welcome 2009. and good riddance to that! This year hasn’t exactly been a fantastic one for me in terms of personal and professional development and I cruised through the first 9 months not accomplishing much. It was also a year marked by feelings of haplessness and some adversity. I guess that’s what happens when the army gets to you. thank god I’d made it through though. But 2008 had its highlights as well, for I fulfilled my quota of taking 3 trips every year and managed to reconnect with some of my primary school friends.

I certainly wished that your 2008 was much better and way more fulfilling than mine. if isn’t, well, you definitely have a chance to work on it in the year ahead. Here’s the first of what I hope to be an annual entry whereby I bid farewell to the year that’s ending and hopefully emerge a better person all around in the year ahead.

2008 marked the year in which i...
