and here it is...
my first big splurge of 2009. while i know it might seemed rash to purchase the instrument just after a single guitar lesson, but i'm hoping that the (rather hefty) investment will spur me on to practice like mad each day. i've been allocated homework and it makes sense to get one so that i wouldn't be left behind come lesson two this friday. have acquired blister-like bumps on 3 fingers on my left hand after daily sessions. painful they might be, but i am not deterred (at least not yet).
was planning on becoming the next leehom but have decided otherwise after hearing manda's wise words. me: hey, at the rate i'm practing my guitar, i'll be the next leehom!! manda: hah! you wish. he plays the piano,violin,er-hu,drums as well!! me: >.< okay, tanya chua better watch her back then. :P yay! first post of 2009! i sincerely hope that the first 6days has been good to all and lets keep our fingers crossed for a recession free year (unlikely it might be)... |
